Making a purchase via the Skåne Djurparks Website


These general terms and conditions ("Terms") apply when you as a consumer make a purchase or a booking via www.skanesdjurpark.se. Your purchase means that an agreement is entered into between you and Skånes Djurpark Resort AB ("Skånes Djurpark").The purchase may refer to tickets, accommodation packages and other products and services, or a combination of these. All prices are stated including VAT.

In order to make a purchase via the Website, you must accept the Terms. By accepting the Terms and Conditions, you undertake to comply with the Terms and Conditions in their entirety. Completed order means that you accept our terms of purchase and your details are registered in our customer register.


Skånes Djurpark reserves the right for possible typographical errors on the Website.


1. CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY

Before making a final order, it is important that you read through important information about the product in question. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the product is in line with his wishes.The customer is responsible for checking that the confirmation corresponds to what was ordered.


2. WHEN ORDERING TICKETS

2.1. Payment

Tickets are paid in full when ordering. Purchased tickets are not redeemable. Right of withdrawal does not apply when buying tickets.


2.2. Activities with unlimited capacity, e.g. entrance tickets to Skånes Djurpark can, after agreement with Skånes Djurpark, be used on a different date than the one chosen when ordering. This applies under the condition that Skåne Zoo is open and that the price corresponds to the price paid. In case of another price period or season, the customer can pay the difference up to the current daily price. Tickets are not partially refundable due to variation in seasonal price.


Tickets without a "last date" are valid 2 years after the date of order and during current opening hours.


2.3. Activities with limited capacity such as special events

Purchased tickets only apply to the date and time stated on the booking and cannot be repurchased unless it is stated in the description of the ordered product that this is possible. The desire for a possible change of date and/or time can be investigated in advance with Skånes Djurpark.


2.4 Disputes

Skånes Djurpark, as an intermediary of external services, is not a party to the matter in the event that there is a disagreement between another supplier and the client regarding quality or errors that occurred before or during the experience.


3. WHEN ORDERING ACCOMMODATION

3.1. Payment

All orders are 100% guaranteed and paid for by the customer at the time of booking.


3.2. The order

The order applies to the number of guests specified in the booking. The number of beds applies to the maximum number of people the room is designed for, and may not be exceeded. If this is misused, the booker risks being rejected from the accommodation facility, losing the booking and the amount paid.


The zoo has the right to change the terms of the booking to an equivalent or better product.


3.3 Cancellation and change

In case of cancellation starting 14 days before the arrival date, the booker will be charged 100% of the sum of the order amount. In case of cancellation up to and including 14 days before arrival, the entire amount is refunded*.

Skånes Zoo allows rebooking, subject to availability, up to 7 days before arrival. This applies under the condition that the overnight stays are open and that the price corresponds to what was paid. In case of another price period or season, the customer can pay the difference up to the current daily price. Overnight accommodation is not partially refundable due to variation in seasonal price. When canceling or rebooking an overnight stay, Skånes Djurpark must be contacted via info@skanesdjurpark.se and the booking number must be stated.


The booker is responsible for his own cancellation insurance to possibly incur costs tied to the cancellation service, cf. point 5.


*Does not apply to "Non-refundable bookings"


3.4 Complaint

Any errors or changes must be notified to the accommodation facility immediately in order to be able to access the correct information.


3.5 Special price for season card holders

Skånes Djurpark's Season card holders have, for some nights and dates, a special price on accommodation packages where the entrance fee is deducted from the price. During certain times, season card holders can also get access to additional discounts. When booking with a special price for season card holders, all guests must show an active season card in the entrance at check-in. If someone in the group does not have a season card, the difference to the regular price must be paid on the spot for those who do not have a season ticket.

3.6 Disputes

The zoo as an intermediary is not a party to the matter, as a disagreement arises between the accommodation facility and the booker regarding quality or errors that occurred before or during the stay.


3.7 Guest's responsibility

The booker must treat the accommodation facility, equipment and accessories with care and with the intention that nothing should be damaged or lost. The booker is responsible for all damage and theft caused by the booker himself or someone in his travel party during the stay. What is destroyed or lost must be replaced in full by the booker.


The booker and accompanying travel party are obliged to follow the general terms and conditions of the accommodation facility. These can be obtained on request.


The booker is responsible for taking out their own liability insurance. See point 5.


4. ORDERING ON THE INTERNET

4.1 Execution of order

After a correctly completed booking, the booker must receive a receipt sent to the e-mail address provided, with confirmation/booking number and a specification of what has been ordered and paid for. The order is not completed and valid if:


- The booker has not received an e-mail with a receipt or confirmation / booking number and specification.

-The payment is interrupted for various reasons and the payment fails.

-The payment is not completed completely or correctly, and the amount is not deducted or suspended from the booker's account.


The booker must ensure that he can be reached at the e-mail address he provided during registration. The booker is responsible for taking care of the confirmation, and having it with him in printed or electronic form at the place to which the booking refers.


4.2 Change in taxes and fees

In the event that taxes and or fees are changed, and thus result in an increase in costs for Skånes Zoo after the order has been completed and paid, the price can be increased by the equivalent for the customer. The customer must be notified of the price change immediately.


4.3 Reservation

We reserve the right for possible printing or proofreading errors on websites and in printed information about the offers at Skåne Zoo.


5. INSURANCE

The customer is responsible for his own, relevant insurances that apply to travel and the customer, such as travel and leisure insurance (including cancellation protection) and travel liability insurance.


6. FORCE MAJEURE

Skånes Djurpark is not responsible for unsatisfactory conditions or closed facilities as a result of measures of war, natural disasters, national or regional strikes, disease outbreaks, pandemics, water or energy disturbances, fire or other similar events that no involved party can foresee or influence. Skånes Djurpark has no obligation to provide a refund or compensation for financial loss arising as a result of force majeure events or cancellation due to this. This means that if an event has to be canceled due to Force Majeure, the buyer will not be reimbursed for their costs in connection with tickets, packages, products and other things. Each party must take its own loss.


7. PERSONAL INFORMATION

Upon payment, the customer consents to personal data being processed by Skånes Djurpark. This is necessary for us to carry out ordinary guest administration and to be able to maintain our relationship with you as a guest. Information customers have registered on Skånes Djurpark's booking page can be used to inform about arrangements and offers offered on this page.This means that we do not disclose your personal data or e-mail address to third parties, unless there are special reasons, e.g. that police, prosecutors or the like request information. If you want to make any changes to the information or be removed from the register, the easiest way is to write to us atinfo(at)skanesdjurpark.se.
